Utah's five national parks — Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion — are all within a few hours of each other. We've been working our way through them one trip at a time. Each one is completely different. Each one is completely worth it.
Utah has some of the darkest skies in the continental United States. Canyonlands is an International Dark Sky Park. We set up the party patio, turned off every light, and watched the Milky Way arc overhead for hours.
